State Identifies 1,500 New COVID Cases For Wednesday

Michigan is reporting 1,536 additional cases of COVID-19 for Wednesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the state has had a total of more than 591,000 cases of COVID since the pandemic started. The state reported five additional deaths for Wednesday, bringing that total to 15,563. The Michigan coronavirus dashboard shows Berrien County with 30 new cases for Wednesday, now at a pandemic total of 10,715 with 223 deaths, the same as Tuesday. Van Buren County has nine additional COVID cases for Wednesday for a total of 4,720 with 85 deaths, the same as the day before. The state’s vaccine dashboard shows more than 2.35 million doses have been administered. Berrien County has administered more than 39,700 doses while Van Buren County has administered more than 16,500.
