The Niles Scream Park is looking for non-profits that would like to team up with it for the next season while helping to raise money for their causes. The Scream Park is itself a non-profit, and operates thanks to volunteers. In turn, the money generated by the haunted attraction is each year given out to local charitable organizations. The Niles Scream Park is inviting new community non-profit groups to assist with putting the “Care in Scare” this year. Money made by each group’s volunteers at the park will go to those partner groups. It requires around 150 to 200 volunteers each night to staff the park’s attractions. They need parking lot attendants and ticket takers, but the park’s greatest need is for volunteers to scare customers. Since 1996, more than $2 million has been donated to local and national non-profit organizations by the Niles Scream Park. It’s asking interested potential partners to reach out.
