(Lansing, MI – AP) – Michigan is greatly expanding the list of who’s eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines in the state, beginning later this month. Governor Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced starting March 22, Michiganders 16 and older with disabilities or medical conditions that put them at high risk of a negative COVID-19 outcome will become vaccine-eligible. On April 5, everyone 16 and older is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. These changes, however, do not mean that everyone who wants a dose will be able to get one right away, as supplies remain limited.
