The Berrien County Road Department will resume work on Red Arrow Highway in New Buffalo and Chikaming Townships on Monday. The agency says the Red Arrow Highway Union Pier Corridor Improvements Project has been on hold since the fall. The project involves rebuilding the road and adding new sewer lines along with sidewalks and landscaping. The work starting Monday will focus on the western side of the road and will have all southbound traffic shifted to the center turn lane.
