Governor Gretchen Whitmer stopped by the Berrien County Health Department on Friday morning. She was there to see a COVID-19 vaccination clinic firsthand, and said it’s encouraging to see the vaccination effort going well.
“These clinics, the leadership in our public health departments coupled with our health systems coupled with volunteers and the Michigan National Guard, this is all different pieces of government coming together and working well together,” Whitmer said.
The governor said it’s taken a lot of collaboration for the vaccination roll out to take place. Whitmer earlier paid a visit to a vaccination clinic in Battle Creek.
