Jennifer Fee Selected For Final Superintendent Interview At SJPS

Jennifer Fee is the choice for the St. Joseph Public Schools Board of Education to take over as superintendent. She was selected from the five finalists interviewed Friday and Saturday and will tour the district tomorrow and undergo a final interview Wednesday at 5 pm. The interview will be done in the conference room at the Administrative Office on Cleveland Avenue and will be streamed on YouTube due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Fee is currently the assistant superintendent of instruction for East Grand Rapids Public School and has held that post since 2017. She also spent 10 years as East Grand Rapids High School principal and taught in the district for five years. Fee has also taught in Denver, Colorado and Miami, Florida. She has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Michigan and is working on a doctorate at Michigan State University.
