State Senator Kim LaSata has announced the new Small Business of the Month award to honor local businesses. She says it’s “one way that we can show our appreciation and highlight these hardworking and dedicated Southwest Michiganders” after a difficult year. Everyone’s invited to nominate businesses by filling out a form at LaSata’s website. You should include the nominee’s name and location and a description of why they deserve an award. LaSata says she looks forward to giving local businesses recognition each month.
