The Fab Lab at Lake Michigan College is marking Easter this year in a very 2021 way — with a virtual Easter egg hunt. Hanson Technology Center Director Chad Dee tells WSJM News it’s for all ages, and to take part, you must first purchase an Easter Egg Hunt Kit from the Fab Lab for $9. Once bought, you can pick it up Thursday between 10 and 10:30 a.m. at the Hanson Center. The six eggs in the kit represent the six eggs everyone will virtually search for at the Fab Lab this weekend.

“We’ve hidden them around the lab so somebody can click on the link, you can virtually zoom around the lab kind of like you’re walking through the lab, scroll in, zoom out, look at the ceiling, look at the floor, look all around you, and look for th Easter eggs,” Dee said.

Dee says participants will be emailed the link to the virtual hunt on Friday and have until 11 p.m. Sunday to find all six designs. He notes Thursday is the fourth anniversary of the Fab Lab, and the virtual hunt is a way to celebrate. Those who find eggs will be entered to win prizes, including a free summer camp registration. For young and old alike, you can sign up here or by calling the Fab Lab.
