Four people are in custody following a shooting in Benton Harbor Wednesday morning. Michigan State Police says police officers were in the area of a home on Brunson Avenue around 10 a.m. when they heard gunshots. They then found the victim, a man with a wound to his forehead. He is expected to recover. Two men and two women were later arrested and a standoff began outside the home with police not sure if another suspect was inside. The standoff ended hours later when police determined no one else was inside. Police say among the four arrested is the suspected shooter. Along with Michigan State Police at the scene were the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety and and the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
