State Reports More Than 9,600 COVID Cases For Sunday, Monday

Michigan is reporting 9,674 new cases of COVID-19 for Sunday and Monday combined. That works out to an average of 4,837 per day. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus dashboard shows Michigan has had a total of more than 747,000 COVID cases since the start of the pandemic and 16,512 deaths. There were 12 new deaths reported for Sunday and Monday. Berrien County was listed with 76 new cases over Saturday, now at a total of 12,332 cases since the pandemic began. The county has had 237 deaths, up one. Van Buren County on Monday reported 56 new cases over Saturday for a pandemic total of 5,643. The county has had 92 deaths, unchanged from Saturday. Cass County listed 26 new cases for Sunday and Monday, with a total of 4,298 cases and 65 deaths, the same as Saturday.
