A 27-year-old woman from Plainwell is facing 12 charges after the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police were tipped off to the uploading of child pornography to the internet. Allie Teed was arraigned last week on four charges each of possession of child pornography, distribution of it, and using a computer to commit a crime. Teed was arrested April 15 after the home was raided and evidence seized. The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office encourages parents to speak to their children about safe use of the internet. There are many resources available to parents to assist in keeping children safe online.
