The number of new COVID-19 cases in Michigan for Tuesday is 2,527, the lowest that number has been since March. There have been 851,947 cases of COVID since March of last year. The Department of Health and Human Services says 126 people died for a total of 17,897, and 51 deaths were from vital records reviews. Berrien County had 24 new cases for a total of 13,353 with 251 deaths. Cass County cases are up 12 to 4,620 with 69 dead. Van Buren County cases are up 30 to 6,363 with 104 deaths.
