The number of new cases of COVID-19 for Sunday and Monday in Michigan average 689 per day. There were 1,379 new cases for a total of 884,580. The state recorded 14 deaths. Since March 2020, 18,953 Michiganders have lost their lives to COVID-19. In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has 22 new cases for 13,766 with 263 deaths. Cass County has 4 new cases for 4,750 with 71 deaths and Van Buren County has 17 new cases for a total of 6,584 with 113 deaths.
