Michigan has 293 new cases of COVID-19 for Sunday and Monday. The Department of Health and Human Services says there were 56 deaths, with 37 being found during vital records reviews. So far, there have been 891,057 cases of COVID-19 and 19,432 have died from it.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has 13,882 cases with 269 deaths. Cass County has two new cases with 4,777 and 71 deaths. There are 4 new cases in Van Buren County for 6,652 and deaths are at 116.
