New COVID-19 Cases Fall Under 200 For Saturday

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Michigan for Saturday has fallen to under 200. The Department of Health and Human Services says there were 198 positive tests for a pandemic total of 892,131. There were 53 reported deaths, 50 of which came from vital records reviews. A total of 19,540 Michiganders have lost their lives to the virus.

For southwest Michigan, Berrien County had one new case and one new death for totals of 13,898 and 270. Cass County had two new cases for 4,790 and deaths remained at 71. Van Buren County had zero new cases to stay at 6,660 but had one death for a total of 117.
