Federal prosecutors say they have secured the final three convictions of nine people in a crystal meth distribution conspiracy. A jury has found Timothy Calicutt and Dwayne Parks of Kalamazoo and Ronald Sutherland of Allegan guilty of dealing the drugs in 2019 and 2020. Parks was a regional supplier of hundreds of pounds of the drugs to Calicutt, who split it up and distributed it from Kalamazoo. Parks also distributed the drugs to Sutherland for use in Allegan County. U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge says the case was the result of several agencies working together into crystal meth distribution in west Michigan. They will be sentenced later this year.
