The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says it will no longer issue weekend reports of COVID-19 test results. For Friday, there were 162 new cases for a pandemic total of 893,164. There were 14 deaths reported for a total of 19,612.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien County had one new case for a total of 13,911 with deaths unchanged for the day at 270. Cass County had no new cases and no deaths for totals of 4,796 cases and 72 deaths. Van Buren County also had zero new case for a total of 6,669 and deaths remained the same at 117.
