The Traverse City Cherry Festival starts on Saturday and will run through July 10. Cherry Festival Director Kat Paye told Michigan News Network it’s going to be a great time.

“So many things,” Paye said. “An arts and crafts fair, competitions for the kids, a car show. You name it, there’s something for everyone.”

The fun kicks off Saturdy with the Consumers Energy Porch Parade. From there, activities will include races, farmers markets, games for kids, rides, bingo, live music, and of course cherries. Last year’s festival was canceled due to COVID-19.
