It’s the long holiday weekend and with more people vaccinated against COVID-19, more people in Michigan are traveling. Triple A’s Adrienne Woodland says about 1.5 million Michiganders are traveling, most by car. She says plane travel has rebounded too, but know the rules.
“Right now, that includes wearing a mask in the airport as well as on the plane,” says Woodland. “Definitely be prepared for any changes.”
Woodland says cruising is making a slower comeback with 20,000 Michigan residents taking a cruise. That number was 100,000 back in 2019.
