The city of St. Joseph is reaching out to local businesses to learn how well it’s serving them as things reopen in the COVID-19 pandemic. Business owners have been sent surveys, and they’re invited to a series of public meetings to talk with city leaders. The meetings are set for August 11, September 15, and October 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the St. Joe City Commission Chambers at City Hall. The city says the purpose of the events is to “start an ongoing conversation between the city and the business community.” St. Joseph Today has sent out a message to members about the survey, which is for all businesses in St. Joseph, not just those downtown. It asks about levels of satisfaction with communication from the city, the ability of the city to solve problems, and customer service, among other things. The survey takes about three minutes, you can find it right here.
