Michigan had 6,313 new cases of COVID-19 from Saturday through Tuesday. The Department of Health and Human Services says it averages to around 1,578 per day and brings the pandemic total to 961,953. There were 29 deaths to bring that total to 20,396.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien County has 14,955 cases and 283 deaths. In Cass County, there have been 5,199 cases and 74 deaths, while in Van Buren County, there have been 7,208 cases and COVID-19 has claimed 130 lives.
