There are some huge lottery jackpots up for grabs this weekend. The Mega Millions jackpot tonight is $405 million and Saturday night’s Powerball is $457 million. The Michigan Lottery Commission’s Jake Harris says they’re seeing an increase in sales.
“Four-hundred million bucks is still a lot to put in your bank account and you’d probably be able to retire and help people out as well. Whoever wins, they will be pretty excited about it.”
If you win, you could take payments for 30 years or a cash option. That would be $237 million for the Powerball and $211 million for the Mega Millions, after taxes.
