COVID-19 Cases Remain Over 6,000 For Two Days

Michigan again has over 6,000 new COVID-19 cases for Thursday and Friday, with 6.080 testing positive. The Department of Health and Human Services says it brings the total to 1,008,069 since March 2020. There were 82 deaths, bringing that total to 20,863.

In southwest Michigan, Berrien County rose 56 to 15,923 cases with 282 deaths, up by one. Cass County added 53 new cases for 5,592 with 76 deaths. There were 76 new cases in Van Buren County for a pandemic total of 7,672 with deaths the same as Wednesday at 134.
