Michigan has gained 8,704 new COVID-19 cases for Saturday through Monday. That brings the total since March of last year to 1,039,337. Sixty-two people died over the three days for a total of 21,139 Michiganders who have lost their lives to COVID-19.
In southwest Michigan there have been 16,314 COVID-19 cases and 294 deaths in Berrien County. Cass County has had 5,803 cases and 80 people have died from the virus, and Van Buren County has had 7,941 cases and 138 deaths.
