The Michigan Department of Transportation will be closing the ramp from southbound I-196 to westbound I-94 from Monday through Saturday next week as part of the US-31 relocation and I-94 Rebuilding Michigan project. Southbound I-196 traffic will be detoured on eastbound I-94 to Coloma at Exit 39, then back onto westbound I-94. The westbound I-94 ramp to northbound I-196 will be closed Monday, October 11, and Tuesday, October 12. The detour is Coloma Exit 39 Friday Road north to Red Arrow Highway, then west on Red Arrow Highway to northbound I-196.
