A new study lists Michigan near the top for haunted places. There are 510 spooky spots in the state including schools, abandoned towns, and even old mines out of more than 11,000 reported in the country. The most haunted location in Michigan is reportedly Mackinac Island.
The Grand Hotel is going to be very haunted,” says Todd Bonner with Detroit Paranormal Expeditions. “There’s so much history there that to bring those types of hauntings out, and you know people think haunted is the bad thing, and a lot of time, hauntings are not bad at all.”
Bonner says the state has a rich history, and it’s no surprise Michigan is the number four most haunted place in America.
