SHOUT for South Haven is looking for volunteers to help remove flowers from the drawbridge this week. It says the planters need to be emptied ahead of the winter, and the effort will take place this Friday at 10 a.m. Those who stop by to help are asked to bring gloves, protective eye wear, and maybe a narrow trowel or a strong garbage container to dig out and collect the dirt. A city crew will be there to help haul away the dirt.
