The bipartisan Michigan Association of County Clerks is calling for an end to conspiracy theories regarding the 2020 presidential election. The organization is chaired by Berrien County Clerk Sharon Tyler and has issued a statement pointing out the need to accept the results, including in Antrim County where human mistakes were caught after the results were temporarily reported incorrectly. St. Joseph County Clerk Lindsay Oswald says in a statement officials caught the mistake and corrected it, proving the system works. The clerks add the results were certified by the Antrim County Board of Canvassers November 8, the state Board of Canvassers November 23, the the state Bureau of Elections did a county-wide hand recount December 17, all showing no significant errors in the results.
