With Halloween just days away, safety experts are sharing tips for keeping your little ones safe while trick-or-treating. Doug Parisi, director of training for SafeDefend.com, says visibility is probably the most important thing to think about.

“They need to be seen, and that’s where there’s a lot of stuff that’s on the market these days when it comes to glow in the dark paint for the face, glow in the dark hair spray, and safety devices that they can put on like those glow sticks that they can break and wear generally on their back,” Parisi said.

Parisi says parents should also make sure cell phones are fully charged before going out. He also recommends using the share location feature if kids are going out on their own.
