Market Van Buren and Cass County are officially working together on developing the region’s economy. The Cass County Board of Commissioners has inked a two-year agreement with Market Van Buren that calls for wide ranging activities for retention of existing businesses, attracting new businesses, and building an ecosystem for growth in Cass County. Cass County Administrator Jeff Carmen says the move “couldn’t have come at a better time to support our small businesses, prepare industrial sites for incoming employers, and support the overall development of the county.” Market Van Buren has been working with Van Buren County on economic development and has been working with Cass County recently. Market Van Buren Director Zack Morris is pleased to formalize its relationship with Cass County.
