Police are investigating a Wednesday shooting in Benton Harbor. The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety tells us more:
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1830 Hours, Officers of BHDPS responded to the 1000 Block of
Hurd St in the City of Benton Harbor for an investigation of a shooting.
Officers responded and found a 30-year-old female wounded by gunfire. The female was transported to
Lakeland Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
While processing the shooting scene several significant pieces of evidence was located to include a
stolen firearm. The motive for this incident is unknown and the investigation is active and ongoing.
