Drugs, Possible Stolen Property Recovered In New Buffalo Township

Drugs and property believed to have been stolen from both Michigan and Indiana have been recovered by police in New Buffalo Township. The Southwest Enforcement Team says it searched a home in the 1,300 block of El Dorado Boulevard on Monday after multiple complaints about possible drug trafficking. In the home, they say they found meth and suspected heroin, along with a large amount of tools thought to have been stolen. Arrested in the search were a 64-year-old New Buffalo man, a 55-year-old New Buffalo man, a 21-year-old Michigan City man, and a 31-year-old New Buffalo woman. Police in Berrien County are now working with counterparts in Michigan City and Laporte County to determine ownership of the items.
