Police have identified two people found dead in the city of St. Joseph last Sunday. The St. Joseph Department of Public Safety says 78-year-old Benjamin Head and his ex-wife, 72-year-old Ruth Kruger are the deceased. The cause of death is undetermined, but police say they had been dead a long time before they were discovered by authorities. After the bodies were recovered, 68-year-old Kurt Kruger was arrested on two charges of failing to report the discovery of a deceased person. Police say Kruger is the brother of Ruth Kruger. He lived in the same home as the two deceased. Police say it’s possible they died of natural causes.
