Lake Michigan Catholic Schools will be providing students with Chromebooks thanks to a donation from the LMC Schools Fund. The funds will allow for the purchase of 100 Chromebooks for students in the third through fifth grades, replacing their older machines. Fund President John Proos says the fund 20 years ago created the Technology Endowment that has helped support ever-changing technology needs in the district’s classrooms. Thanks to programs like it, Lake Michigan Catholic says it was able to adapt to new remote learning needs when the pandemic started.
