There’s a new candidate in the running for the Michigan House in the 38th District. Kevin Whiteford has announced his candidacy. Like his wife and current state Representative, Mary, Kevin Whiteford is a Republican. The 38th District is the long lakeshore district that runs from New Buffalo all the way up to Saugatuck. Whiteford lives in the South Haven area. He says priorities are looking out for businesses, supporting the police, and supporting the elderly. He’s a business owner and father of three with three grandchildren. Also running in the 38th District, as Democrats, are Annie Brown and Joey Andrews.
