Brenda Sue is a well-aged 5-7 year old female American Terrier mix.  Brenda Sue might be a borderline senior dog, but she has a lot of sass left in her!  This lovely and lively lady enjoys being outside, running, sniffing around, and simply enjoying the world.  She is a natural born athlete so she will need to have the extra love and care that retired athletes sometimes need. She can be a little over the top in her excitement to go for walks or during play time and this excitement causes her to be mouthy and, on occasion, nippy.  Brenda Sue does have a torn ACL, a knee injury she got from playing a little too hard.  She would do best in a quiet home to heal and recoup for her next big adventure.  Brenda Sue can be dog selective, so the meet and greet is a must.  However if you have a cat, she will be best friends with it.  Brenda Sue is up to date on shots and spayed.  She would do best in a home with kids 15 and up due to her high energy level.  Brenda Sue is at Berrien County Animal Control, Phone 269-927-5648, 1400 South Euclid Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.  Please contact us or stop by the shelter to learn more about our energetic girl of action, Brenda Sue.
