A Niles woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle in a hit and run on Sunday. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says 911 was called shortly after 4:40 a.m. and deputies were sent to the scene at South Third Street near Brooks Street. They found Monica Clubb had been stuck and seriously injured. She later died from her injuries at Memorial Hospital. The sheriff’s department is working to identify the vehicle that hit her. Witnesses said the vehicle was a dark SUV or pick-up. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
