Two suspects are in custody after a warehouse break-in in Lake Township Friday. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were sent to the warehouse in the 8,500 block of Gast Road around 1:30 a.m. after the owner reported someone inside. He saw them on surveillance video. When deputies arrived, they found the suspects had already left. Police set up a perimeter and deployed a drone with a thermal image camera to check the woods around the building. Thanks to the drone, sheriff’s deputies spotted two people hiding in the woods. Police brought them into custody. Deputies also found two vehicles at the scene of the crime that were loaded with around $60,000 worth of merchandise from the business.
