The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety is investigating after a body was found in a field on Saturday. The department says the body of 39-year-old Edward Lindsey was found near 525 Cherry Street around 12:30 p.m. He had no visible injuries. The body was taken to Western Michigan University for an autopsy and it has not identified a cause of death. The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information on the death to contact the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.
