Two motorcyclists are dead following a crash in Cass County on Monday. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says it happened at the intersection of US 12 and Baldwin Prairie Road in Porter Township shortly before 4:40 a.m. Responders learned two motorcycles had been struck from behind by a car. The motorcycles and the car that struck them were all westbound on US-12. The motorcycles slowed down to turn on to Baldwin Prairie when they were struck. The drivers of the motorcycles have been identified as 20-year-old Tanner Maddock Hull and 21-year-old William David Monroe Kunz, both from White Pigeon. Both were killed. The driver of the car has been identified as 20-year-old Tristan Conner Thorpe of White Pigeon. Police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. Kunz and Hull were not wearing helmets. Anyone who might have witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
