A 19-year-old Benton Harbor man is recovering after being shot on Sunday. The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety says officers were called to the 100 block of Oden Street around 1:15 p.m. on a report of gunshots. They found a handgun in the road and other evidence there had been a shooting. While investigating, they were notified of a gunshot victim who had been dropped off at Spectrum Health Lakeland hospital in St. Joseph. The victim was seriously injured in the altercation on Oden. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.
