Burnout is more pervasive this year that it was last year. Robert Half Staffing’s Neal Gilbert told Michigan News Network their research shows 41% more workers feeling burned out that a year ago. Who’s most affected?

“The Gen Z professionals out there, close to 50% of them are feeling burnout right now,” Gilbert said. “Other sectors as well. The technology sector is definitely in there. We’re also seeing women. 43% of women are feeling burnout right now, and that may be juggling the work, home element of things.”

Gilbert says if you’re suffering, take a vacation, do things you like to do, and take some breaks. He says even a longer lunch once in a while may help.
