The St. Joseph School Board on Monday approved the hire of Allison Hoskins as the new high school assistant principal.

Hoskins, who comes to the district after serving as assistant principal at Hamilton High School for three years, was also a high school teacher in Iowa from 2011 to 2018.

“We’re thrilled to have her,” said SJPS Superintendent Jenny Fee. “She brings a good level of experience, some [Career and Technical Education] experience too, so she’s ready to dig in.”

After leaving Hamilton HS, Hoskins was director of student support at Lakeshore Public Schools for part of the 2021-22 school year. She earned her Master of Education from the University of Minnesota.

“I’m so excited to be a part of this group and team,” Hoskins said. So, thank you.”
