Whirlpool will hold its next appliance sale to benefit the United Way of Southwest Michigan this month. The United Way’s Jennifer Tomshack tells us the company will sell deeply discounted appliances with more than 300 available. Shoppers will be able to find Maytag, KitchenAid, and Whirlpool brand ovens, ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, and washers and dryers at significant savings. All the appliances are new and come with a one year warranty.
“The appliance sale is a very significant fundraiser for the Whirlpool Employee United Way campaign, and they’re one of our primary funders,” Tomshack said.
Tomshack says in addition to 300 large appliances for sale, there will be Gladiator and KitchenAid brand small appliances available. The sale will be July 23 and 24 at the Whirlpool Corporation Global Consumer Design building at 1800 Paw Paw Avenue in Benton Harbor. On the 23rd, the sale hours will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the 24th they will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds from the sale will go to the United Way of Southwest Michigan. For an additional $100 donation per appliance, home deliveries will be available within a 15-mile radius.
