St. Joseph Today is inviting the community to celebrate all things Southwest Michigan during Love Local Weekend Aug. 19-21. Love Local weekend features live music, extended shopping hours, special offers, St. Joe Farmers Market, Lake Bluff Artisan Fair and more!
St. Joe Jack and the Good Time Co. will be starting the weekend off Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the at the John E.N. Howard Bandshell. On Saturday, the bluff will be brimming with vendors, with the St. Joe Farmers Market hosting extended hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Lake Bluff Artisan Fair hosting more than 50 vendors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday evening, head down to Whittlesey Park to watch a showing of “Sing 2” at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Love Local Weekend wraps up with a free Municipal Band Concert held at the John E.N. Howard Bandshell at 7 p.m.
As always, residents and visitors can enjoy the Downtown Social District all weekend. Participating downtown shops will also have extended shopping hours, featured menu items, and other area deals.
“Love Local Weekends are an entirely unique experience,” said St. Joe Today Executive Director Amy Zapal. “Each Love Local Weekend offers different specials that are inspired by the fantastic agriculture in Southwest Michigan.”
