The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday that a 32-year-old Kalamazoo resident ‘intentionally’ drove his car into a 65-year-old woman walking in a Walmart parking lot in Oshtemo Township, killing the woman.
The incident took place at about noon Tuesday, according to the report. The man, who was driving a maroon sedan, has been arrested and charged with 1st degree homicide. The woman was taken to Bronson Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There is no known relationship between the suspect and deceased. The incident is still under investigation.
