Names Of South Haven Drowning Victims Released

The names of two people who drowned in South Haven this week have been released. The South Haven Police Department says 22-year-old Kori Ernster of Novi and 19-year-old Emily MacDonald of Columbus, Michigan were killed when swimming on Monday. Bystanders pulled them out of the water off South Beach Monday afternoon. The two swimmers were unresponsive and CPR was not successful. The yellow flags were flying at the beach at the time. The flags were later changed to red.
