Governor Gretchen Whitmer has agreed to take part in two televised debates with her Republican opponent, Tudor Dixon. Both debates will be in October, one in Detroit and one in Grand Rapids. Whitmer is seeking a second term. In her first run for governor, she took part in two debates. While she hasn’t committed to any specific dates, Tudor Dixon says debates must start before voting begins, not after as Whitmer is demanding.
