Three people have been hospitalized after a crash in Cass County Saturday morning. Sheriff’s deputies say 32-year-old Jordan Hanifan of Dowagiac stopped at the stop sign on Dailey Road at Pokagon Highway and then drove into a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Theresa Schultz of Fort Wayne as she was heading west on Pokagon. First responders had to extricate Hanifan from the vehicle and he and his wife Samantha were taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital. Shultz was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac. Both of Hanifan’s kids, a nine and a seven-year-old, were not hurt. Deputies say both vehicles were pushed off the road due to the crash.
