Indiana Michigan Power has more than 300 employees headed to Florida. They will be helping with power recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian, which is expected to make landfall in western Florida soon. Employees from southwest Michigan and five Indiana communities will be working 16-hour shifts. I&M says they do not have an estimate on when these employees will be back, however they still have plenty of people staying back to assist with any issues that arise while they are gone.
